"Get on with it!" Max paled.
The shop shook with a sudden burst of lightning and the ensuing thunder.
The man looked up to the ceiling. "Your mother knows I'm talking to you. She's very upset. Max, please. You need to hide."

Freak storms, changing climates... they're all proof that global warming is starting to change our planet. It was only a matter of time before Mother Nature got upset with the damage we were causing. What we never could have anticipated, was how she was planning to get rid of her problem.

My Thoughts

It's no secret that Zombies are not normally my thing, this is like the fifth one I've ever read, but I have to admit, they're growing on me!

Part Zombie story, part magical fantasy, and part environmental campaign, Terra's Wrath is jam packed with fun characters and interesting plot turns. Numerous story arcs that ordinarily wouldn't fit together do, and the author weaves a tale that somehow wraps you up, spins you around, and leaves you wanting more.

I really enjoyed the romance aspect of this story. Lane and Gabby are so completely perfect for each other it's ridiculous, and yet it takes a Zombie infestation for them to get their shit together! They are just one of those meant-to-be couples that you want to smack over the head and yell "look at what's in front of you!"

I did loose my way a little bit while reading Terra's Wrath - mostly during the action scenes - but that was due to the number of secondary characters I was trying to keep track of, I did struggle to remember who was who at times.

Overall, Meaka Kyel has created a weird and wonderful world all of her own, filled with yellow eyed zombies, sprites, talking dogs, and much, much more. A thrilling read indeed, 4 stars ;]
