Seriously.
I have around twenty partially written blog posts, several spotlight posts, multiple reviews - some are half written or lack substance, or they are scribbled on pieces of paper in a pile on my desk!
I feel blocked. Stymied. Burnt out.
I really need a kick in the pants, a hot poker to the ass so-to-speak!
Although I did get my reading mojo back. I'm not reading a ton of books - but at least I'm reading again. But I'm using the 50 page rule - if the book hasn't caught my interest in some way, shape, or form, then it's heading to the DNF (did not finish) pile.
Gone. Finito. Bye-bye.
Some bloggers I know have just given up, shut down their blogs. A lack of support, pressure to rate high stars etc amongst the many reasons to remove themselves from the blogging community. I don't think I'll ever reach that point, but sometimes it is nice to step away....
I'd love to know, what are your tricks for fighting burn out?

it happen to all of us at one point and the solution also differ... the only advice i can give you is don't worry and don't add stress on yourself. try to do something different ( a week end off, a new hobby ( crafting one are teh best) and then firsdt focus on book you are sure to love ( favourite author, serie syou started and loved) to go step by step then you should feel "h&ppy" again not stressed and teh inspiration should come back

Awww, thank you for your lovely words @miki. I like the idea of taking some time out for crafting, I might make some bookmarks or gift cards :)
DeleteThanks for the advice, and good luck for the giveaway!
I don't have any words of advice since I'm in the same spot as you. I just keep starting a new document and trying again. Hopefully something will stick if I keep at it.
