Man! 

Where has the time gone? 

Its August people!!

So I would normally be doing a giveaway today but have decided to hold off for now as I'm hoping to put something decent together soon (maybe when I reach 100 GFC followers)

Besides which, I still haven't heard from anonymous @ faerielillies06 (email address) who won last months giveaway and so I will be re-drawing a name later in the week if my emails continue to go unanswered.

My poor bookshelf is straining under the weight of my unread books and sadly I think I really need to do a cull. 
There are a few on there that I don't think I'll ever get around to reading. 
Is it me or are there a lot of great sounding, but crappy to read books out there?? 

My current read is one such book that sounded delightful but is an absolute chore to read. 
I'm practically bored to tears by it and I'm thinking of throwing it on the DNF pile. 
Its a book I'm supposed to be reviewing (heads up-it probably wont be pretty!) and so feel I should give it a chance but its not doing a thing for me and I really dislike the writing style.

First Monday Of The Month Giveaway: July

Well obviously I'm a little late with the details this month, but its been a busy few weeks!

We moved house and boy was it a hard task to move all of 504 meters up the road!!!
Thats right, we are now 1 farm further up the road.

I think moving such a short distance is worse in some respects because we still had to pack everything up and load it on the truck.
The poor truck driver then drove the huge distance of 900 meters (the driveway was 400m long!) to our new place to unload everything!!!

But with lots of help from family and friends we were pretty much done by lunchtime.
The unpacking is still a little haphazard but we'll get there.

Anyway........on with the comp!

First Monday Of The Month Giveaway: June

Its June already people!
We are half way through the year, which means we are even closer to Christmas and well on our way to 2012. Eeekk!!

I LOVE ANGELS.

Angel ornaments, angel art, angel movies, angel jewellery, books about angels..........

And they don't have to be your traditional Heavenly Angels either, in fact if I'm reading about angels they can be any stretch of the imagination.
Blood sucking angels, avenging angels, fallen angels, guardian angels, sex crazed angels, 20 foot tall lizard faced angels, I really do just have a thing for them.


So when I recently went to a small farmers market and stumbled upon a lady selling crystal angel jewelry I had to buy some!
I think they are super cute and since I love to spread the joy I bought a pair for you too!
